My only problem is that Walmart has succeeded by destroying the small business economy that has fueled our economy since it's inception. There are virtually no small businesses in small towns anymore. Historically our economic recoveries were always signaled by a swelling of jobs by small (less than 500 employees) and start ups, the usual number is 65%. Don't you wonder why our economy has been in the crapper for almost 10 years now? How many people from the 31 big supermarket chains that sought bankruptcy, because of Walmart, are now working at minimum wage for Walmart.I have no problem with decrying BIG GOVERNMENT as being more damaging than helpful to it's citizens but BIG BUSINESS (especially the biggest) is destroying America just as well and it's doing it even faster, or should I say more efficiently?

Walmart no joke
I was very recently sent an email saying that because in 52 years Walmart has gone from nothing to the largest company in the world we should turn over the government, who has pretty much bankrupted everything it touched, to Walmart. This hit me very hard and I wrote this rebuttal to my friend who had sent me the email. I am so passionate about this subject I had to share it.
