Chapter 1 - The Beginning
I'm starting this (so far) monologue, as I would any design, from the background. The beginning point for good design is to analyze the background the of the space you are doing. At it's most esteem you would need to know where is this room. Is it in a home, a hospital, a cave? Second; How is this room used, and by whom? Third; How does this room fit into the flow and ambiance of the overall structure it is surrounded by? Questions are the most important part of good design. The beginning of knowledge is realizing you don't know. The beginning of good design is realizing what you have to work with and what you need to achieve.
